Thank you for your interest in attending this year's Summit! Nearly every high school within our eight city and county region is participating! Each school has a designated number of student attendees. Students interested in participating in this year's Summit should contact their school. Students can only be registered through their high school; there is no online registration for students.

Educator & Community/Industry Leader Registration

Awards Banquet- March 7 @ the Insititute for Advanced Learning & Research, Danville

        Registration for the Awards Banquet (including Leland Melvin's keynote) is an optional add-on to Educator & Community/Industry Leader Day Registration- March 8th.            The add-on cost is $25pp. Registration to the Awards Banquet ONLY can be completed through the SPTC; the cost is $45pp.

Edcuator & Community/Industry Leader Day- March 8 @ the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, Danville 

There are several registration options built for your individual needs, please select the option that best suits your occupation.

Educators (8:15am-3:30pm*): Join us for a full day of K-12, STEM-H educator workshops (visit our Program page for a listing of workshop topics) along with plenary sessions highlighting the STEM-H programs & initiatives of each school division in Southern Virginia, and networking with regional educators, community, & industry leaders. Come acquire new tools, curriculum, and other resources to utilize in your classroom while earning a certificate for CEUs (must attend the full day's schedule to receive your certificate)! ($25)

Non-profit & Business/Industry Leaders (11:35am-1:50pm): Do you have a vested interest in the future workforce of Southern Virginia being skilled in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and/or Health? Would you like to help us build a better pipeline for STEM-H education in our region? Please join us for the plenary sessions of this year's Summit to hear from our regional Superintendents or their designee about the STEM-H initiatives taking place in their school division. Network with regional educators surrounding partnership opportunities.You are welcome to attend additional Educator Workshops should your schedule permit. ($25- nonprofit; $35 business (1) or $60 (2) *Your fee helps subsidize the cost for two educator attendees*)





Are you a STEM-H educator? Join us for a day of professional development and networking at this year's SOVA STEM-H Summit. The schedule includes both plenary and concurrent sessions with an emphasis on hands-on workshops that provide you with easy to implement curriculum ideas you can take back to the classroom.

Will be recognized at a joint awards banquet with the SPTC's Innovation Stars Awards. Leland Melvin will provide the evening's keynote.

Registration can be made to the Awards Banquet alone ($45) or as an add-on ($25) to March 8th's registration.
